Sam is a senior at the University of Minnesota and just applied to Vet school this Fall. She is at Maplebrook for the hands on experience to further her skills in veterinary medicine. She loves getting to work with and getting to know all of the pets and their owners as they come in. She believes that pets have a way of creating a special bond with owners and her goal in veterinary medicine is to improve the quality and longevity of each pets life. She loves playing sports like volleyball, softball, and kickball. She also loves to horseback ride. She is from Alexandria, MN and owns a orange and white domestic short hair cat named Jimmy (however if he misbehaves, his name is James.) She also has a black and white springer spaniel/poodle/terrier mix that still lives with her parents. She is the President of the Pre-Vet Club at the University of Minnesota and we are thrilled to have her.
